Bella Narcis is the female Narcissus who fell in love with his/her own image reflected in the water. Even the nymph Echo could not seduce him. It is all described in the beautiful book by Ovid, the Roman poet who wrote down all mythological stories in verse 2,000 years ago. Although it was a long time ago, many themes such as gender or gaslighting already appeared in an early form.
