Heavy, block-shaped sections are connected by rounded forms that run through the work, as if the stone has been brought together from within. The exterior remains rough, while the openings have been carefully crafted. The title, The Secret of the Stone, refers to Mutal's belief that every stone has its own inner structure and history.
