How do you like your Egg in the Morning?
Willem Lenssinck
Willem once visited a shop in Amsterdam, located on the IJ, that sold many Asian items. There, he saw large, egg-shaped stones. The type of stone was so incredibly beautiful that Willem bought all 18 of them. Afterward, he made a small drawing with the idea: What came first, the bird or the egg? That drawing is in the book on p. 251. Recently, he had some time to spare and thought: 'I have to do something with that.' The title is taken from a song by Dean Martin: 'How Do You Like Your Eggs in the Morning? I Like Mine with a Kiss.' Martin sang this with Helen O’Connell. A cheerful song, just like the sculpture.
