Laimb\u00f6ck Art was founded by Rolf Laimb\u00f6ck, thereby continuing his family’s artistic tradition. Rolf represents the impressive sculptures of his stepfather Willem Lenssinck and renowned artists such as Uschi Klaas & Heinrich Brockmeier, Juan Ripoll\u00e9s, Eug\u00e8ne Brands, Lika Mutal, and his sister Lia Laimb\u00f6ck. They make the power of imagination tangible in their own unique way.
For Rolf Laimb\u00f6ck, art is more than just an object. A work of art often says something about you and its creator. What you find beautiful often reflects something within you. A work of art thus invites dialogue, contemplation, or perhaps even a statement. It is a conversation between creator and viewer, between present and past. Through art fairs, exhibitions, and art events, he aims to truly connect people and art. <\/p>\n

Laimbock Art stems from a family history steeped in art. It began with painter Piet Vermeulen (1908-1996), who became particularly known for surrealist still lifes and cityscapes of his beloved city of Utrecht. His daughter Lika Mutal<\/a> (1939-2016) was an internationally renowned sculptor who created many modern marble sculptures, as well as the national memorial monument for Peru, where she resided. Her work is featured in various museum collections, such as the Kr\u00f6ller – M\u00f6lller <\/a>Museum. <\/p>\n Catherine Lenssinck-Vermeulen, another daughter, provided a platform for national and international artists for more than 30 years at Galerie Laimb\u00f6ck<\/a>. With dozens of high-profile exhibitions, she brought art to life in Langbroek and far beyond. She collaborated with Kunsthaus B\u00fchler for 32 years at TEFAF, together with her husband and sculptor Willem Lenssinck. Catherine is also the founder of Stichting doK<\/a>, which promotes Dutch sculpture through lectures. These are given by Willem Lenssinck and art historians Jaap Versteegh, Bieke van der Mark, and Rolf Laimb\u00f6ck. For more than twenty years, he has been active in his parents’ gallery, where he contributes creatively, executively, and commercially.
