Laimböck Art considers it important to protect your personal data properly. To make it clear and understandable for you how we handle your personal data, we have outlined our privacy policy below.

Personal Data
When you have signed up for newsletters and invitations, this information is processed in a customer database. This data is necessary to inform you through the newsletter and invitations to exhibitions and fairs. We consider it of great importance that this data is handled with care. In doing so, we adhere to the requirements of privacy legislation.

Processing of Personal Data
Depending on the information you have provided, we may process the following personal data about you:
Personal Details
– Your first and last name
– Your gender (for addressing mail and email)
– Your address details
– Your telephone number
– Your email address

Other information (if applicable):
– Artwork(s) purchased by you
– Your request for complimentary tickets to fairs or attendance at openings.
– In some cases, your area of interest that you have provided. For example, your interest in certain artists or art historical periods.
-Appraisal report or consignment of artworks.

For what purpose and on what legal basis do we process personal data.
Legal Basis
You have indicated to us that you wish to receive newsletters and invitations to fairs. You have provided this information to us:
1. via the website www.laimböckart.nl
2. by filling in your details in our guestbook or a QR code at a fair.

Purpose
Laimböck Art processes your personal data for the following purposes:
– Post-sale processing: sending invoice and checking payment
– Sending our newsletter (2-5 times per year)
– Sending invitations to fairs (2-4 times per year)
– Contacting you if you have provided a search request or an appraisal request.
– Or if we believe that a particular artwork might be of interest to you.
How long we retain personal data
Laimböck Art does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
We apply the following retention periods:
– Maximum of 10 years, calculated from our last interaction with you.
– Until cancellation if you regularly indicate that you wish to be invited to exhibitions or fairs.
– Statutory retention period for invoices
– 10 years: Appraisal reports

Accessing, Modifying or Deleting Data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Laimböck Art. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data to rolf@laimbockart.nl.

How we protect personal data.

Relationship Database and Invoices
Laimböck Art takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. Your data is stored in a relationship database on only one secure Apple computer. This computer is protected with a password, virus scanner and firewall. We keep your own request to be included in our relationship database in a folder in our administration. This folder is not accessible to outsiders. Invoices are stored on a secure computer that is not accessible to third parties.

Mailing
Discretion is assured because all emails are sent from our own system.

Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties
Laimböck Art does not provide data that can be traced back to individuals to third parties.

Website
The Laimböck Art website has https security (SSL certificate). This is an encryption protocol that fully encrypts communication between visitors and our websites so that no one can eavesdrop. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us.
