Taurus Dulce

Willem Lenssinck
In 2003 and 2005, Willem Lenssinck created two majestically large bull sculptures: Bull’s Heaven & Taurus Magnus. Every accomplished artist varies or elaborates on previous works, whether their own or those of a colleague. This process is known as emulation. This particular sculpture is a product of that tradition. It shares the same stance and posture as the first two bull sculptures, but with softer lines. Hence, Taurus Dulce, which translates to 'sweet' or 'soft'.
